You have likely selected an overlay colour with an 100% opacity. Play with the second slider on the “Overlay” setting, and move it toward the middle.

When you select a colour for the overlay, you will find two vertical sliders to the right of the colour box. The second slider controls the opacity.

The purpose is to improve text readability by increasing contrast between the text and the background image. The overlay is generally semi-transparent, allowing the image to still be visible, but subdued enough so that the text is legible

A parallax background refers to a visual effect where the background image moves at a different speed than the foreground elements,. i.e. the text when a user scrolls down or up a webpage. This creates an illusion of depth and adds an engaging, dynamic element to the user experience.

Modules are arranged in a vertical stack, their positioning dictated by the numerical value assigned to each. A module assigned a higher numerical value will be positioned further down the page. Should modules share an identical order number, they will be organised alphabetically.
